Ammonite Dorset buttons, inspired by the beautiful ammonites found along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, where Dorset buttons originated.
Daisy Chain Dorset buttons, inspired by the embroidery stitch of the same name.
Flower Dorset buttons, an easy Dorset button, perfect for adding a splash of floral sweetness to your project.
Yarrell Dorset buttons, a traditional hand stitched Dorset button.
Each Dorset button kit comes with a written instruction sheet supported by colour photographs throughout, 10 closed rings, our own hand dyed thread suitable for Dorset button making and a tapestry needle. Everything you need to make ten Dorset buttons. We use high quality 70% Natural Bamboo/30% Linen in our plant based Dorset button kits so they should be hand washed at a low temperature (Always wash Dorset buttons first before attaching to a garment or project, to ensure dye fastness). Each kit comes packed in a plastic free cloth bag, made locally and often from recycled materials.
