The Kraul Basket Funicular is easy to assemble and wonderful toy with plenty of play value. Toys, little passengers and more can travel by basket indoors and out! Works horizontally, vertically and diagonally! The baskets are attached to a string and move by turning a wheel at either end.

One of our all time favourite toys that has been in the Myriad range for over 20 years. This wonderful plaything started off as an idea a big sister told her father, Walter Kraul, about. Together they set about making the toy for the little brother- it was a great success on his birthday! Later, when Walter set up his toy business he included this wonderful toy idea in the range.

Set up from 9 years, play from 4 years. Comes with two baskets (style will vary). Little Passengers shown in images are available separately.

FAQ: How does the Basket Funicular differ from the Big Cable Car Kit? The Kraul Basket Funicular is a simpler product than the Big Cable Car and does not need gluing. Children will need some help setting it up. The Basket Funicular gondolas (the 2 baskets) are fixed to the running string. The running string is moved by the use of the turning wheels at either end. This is different ot the Big Cable Car Kit. As the wheels are turned so the string goes round, and the baskets which are tied to the string goes round as well. The Basket Funicular can run vertically as well as horizontally or diagonally. The Big Cable Car can only run diagonally as it uses gravity to move the gondola. The Basket Funicular baskets are moved by the turning wheel only, as the baskets are fixed to the cable.
