One of the most important toys for boys and girls alike - the doll becomes the child's alter ego and through play the child can explore life and deal with experiences. Doll play is encouraged in Waldorf early years settings because of the benefits, and as a parent it is deeply rewarding to see your child lovingly care for a doll in play. 

Doll play is important for children for several reasons: it’s a potent way for children to develop empathy, understanding, and kindness. Doll play allows a child to show care and develop nurturing skills. They will imitate the nurturing that they experience themselves or see others receiving. The doll also allows a child to have an ‘alter ego’, so they can explore their feeling life and re-enact difficult experiences together with happy ones. Emotional intelligence depends on all these capacities.

Are dolls are all handmade and are made in Europe and Peru. Each doll is made from pure natural materials, outside and in. Facial features are deliberately kept to a minimum to enchance the imaginative potential of the doll.
