Stockmar Artist Watercolour Paint Set. The set consists of 12 Stockmar watercolours (as used in Steiner Waldorf schools). 2 brushes, 1 sponge and 1 palette in a wooden box.  Highest quality pigments for excellent colour experience by young and old alike! These paints were created for wet-on-wet painting. This technique involves soaking or sponging watercolour paper in water. The Stockmar Watercolours are diluted into jars, then the paint is brushed on to the damp paper - the colour will bleed on the wet paper in a beautiful way. When using more than one colour, the colours will mix and blend creating a beautiful result. This is an ideal way for young children to experience painting for the first time. Do try these lovely paints, you will not regret it! We have been selling these paints since 1998 and consistently our customers are delighted and surprised at the quality of these paints, and how long they last. Well worth the investment. Starter set includes Carmine, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine. Dilute for use, these paints go a long way.
