Wobbel Board Natural. A really great toy! This board helps develop the child's strength and sense of balance, and allows for endless creative options. Use as a balance board in a variety of open ended ways, a see-saw, a cradle, a slide, a bridge or use three or more together to make a house! Made in the Netherlands from pure beech wood, and available in natural wood, or with 100% wool felt underside. The Wobbel board originates in Waldorf schools. It is a classic balance board in a modern design. The Wobbel stimulates balance and strength during play and use. In a playful way, but very efficiently, it supports physical awareness and balance. When using it as a training device, specific muscle groups can be isolated, while other exercises train big muscle groups. This goes for (young) children, adults and even the elderly. The Wobbel is inspiring because of its impressive but undefined curved shape. This shape stimulates creativity which makes it everything a child imagines.

The Wobbel is made with many layers of the best European beech wood, which are stacked and pressed under high pressure, has a uniquely designed curve and can hold up to 200 kg. Because of its shape and looks the Wobbel doesnt need to be put away after playing with it- it looks great! It is designed for indoor use, but can be used outside with sufficient care (we recommend using on a mat).

Natural Wobbels are most suitable for use on carpet or rugs. Felt backed versions are better for hard floors like wood, stone or tile- the felt protects both the floor and the Wobbel and reduces noise. Children are open minded and keep finding new uses for the Wobbel. It's an ideal step, for example, so children can wash their own hands at the basin without help.
